Blessed and Restored
Spiritual Matters
What are you dealing with in your life today? Are you over committed, stressed, worried, angry, depressed, feel hopeless, helpless , lost your peace, joy, feel unloved and just do not know what to do to change things? You are not alone because many people feel the same way and are struggling to make sense of their lives.
Who or what are you turning to for answers and comfort? Are you finding comfort in using food, alcohol, drugs, sex, TV shows and movies, books or any number of other things to comfort yourself, feel good about yourself or to feel in control again in your search and need for love, peace, joy and security?
If you answered yes to any of these
then your peace has not been restored
The only place to find peace is the peace we find in Jesus. You can trust that when I say there is no other way that I'm telling you the truth because at times in my life I have tried to find another way, but the only thing I found was more hurt and pain and a life even more separated from God. What a lonely and pitiful time in my life!
When things start to go wrong and life gets difficult it's too easy to turn away from God and blame circumstances and/or people and I think that's human nature but it's not how we have to live life. We do have a choice. We always have a choice as to what we believe, who we believe in and how we react to circumstances.
If you are struggling right now ask yourself :
-
How much time do you spend in prayer each day?
-
How much time do you spend reading your Bible each day?
-
How much time do you spend talking with God each day?
-
How often do you consult with God and wait for His answer before making a decision?
-
How often do you seek God's guidance in your life?
Or maybe you are impatient or want to do it your way:
-
Do you wait for God to answer your prayers or do you create your own answers or disregard where He is leading because you would rather go a different way?
-
Do you trust that God has your best interests at heart and will take care of you?
-
Do you know that God is always with you and He says He will never leave you?
-
Do you know how much God loves you?
If the answers to these questions are no then I encourage you to dig deeper in your Bible, spend more time talking with God, asking Him to help you and waiting on His answer no matter how long it takes. I encourage you to talk to your pastor, a Christian Counselor or you may call me. I will be happy to pray with you and spend time talking with you.
God has provided help for you to work through trying and difficult times. God is reaching out to you right now so get on your knees before Him and seek His Truth for your life and let God help you.
